I've come up for air after banging my head on the new website development and I'm seeing something that could be a very important development for dialysis: Medicare bundling, paying for dialysis in a lump sum rather than separate payments.
Some of the lawyers, journalist, that have been associated with this organization were involved in a lawsuit that wanted to stop the misuse of epo years ago, hemocrit levels were being bounced all over in order to use more epo and make the big bucks. Bundling payments sounds like an excellent idea! This could be a great way to stop the misuse of things like epo!
