Rep. Boebert,

I wanted to correct a statement I made in message 4 that I sent you.  "You can congratulate your colleague Senator Bill Cassidy for helping to break the shutdown logjam!".  After double-checking the message I believe the statement I made is misleading.  Senator Cassidy started a dialogue about flexible savings accounts when shutdown negotiations were stalled.  He probably didn't have much to do with the shutdown ending?  And the congratulations I mentioned were for Senator Cassidy shining a little light through the craziness we are experiencing.  And anybody who doesn't see it as a little light shining through can kiss my ass.  Again, this looks a lot like the Medisave program Singapore has.  Again Singapore's healthcare system has had Bloomberg News pointing out the low, low prices.  And the World Health Organization has pointed out the Neiman Marcus outcomes.  Too many politicians want to talk circles around a system that is a proven prototype for what works, and has worked for decades - and has worked very well!

Sorry if I'm a little cranky today.  I've been experiencing some insomnia over a problem that has been driving me up a wall.  I may have mentioned I'm a 25 year kidney dialysis advocate.  However I don't consider myself an individual dialysis patient advocate - I've always left that to a decades-old friend by the name of Arlene Mullin.  She was heavily featured in Tom Mueller's book 'How to Make a Killing'.  She seems to have disappeared off the face of earth.  I've contacted Mr. Mueller, he and others don't have any idea where she got off to - I've even checked the obituaries, nothing.

This leads to my current problem.  I was approached by a daughter from the Gary Indiana area on Facebook who claims her mother was assaulted by a dialysis tech who I seem to recall has a criminal past.  The daughter is claiming a cover up, and has been quite consistent with that claim over the months.  Since I can't contact Arlene, to say I've been struggling with this problem is an understatement.  I've tried to do a few things - even tried to get my doctor son to call the mother's nephrologist and see why the mother can't get home dialysis - something that would get her the hell of that clinic.  All I got from my boy was there are 2 sides to every story, blah, blah.  Not going to know the other side if you don't call!!  I think I'm currently on a time-out and he isn't talking to me (paybacks are hell aren't they).

So how could you help?  I was hoping you could contact an Indiana Rep and find out what the hell is going on?  I could tell an Indiana contact what has been tried so far.  I was taught by Arlene to keep a lot of things under wraps, so I'm not going to say much more.  I hope I haven't said too much already.
